DRUG & ALCOHOL TESTING

Drug and alcohol testing is quick, accurate, and confidential.

Whether done to help get a person into addiction treatment, monitor the effectiveness of treatment, present to an employer, or offer to the courts, the testing is reliable and unassailable if challenged.

Since the testing is always supervised by an experienced and duly licensed Medical Review Officer (M.R.O.), the testing is well-documented and structured using the most up-to-date and sophisticated protocols. Dr. Westreich can help structure a testing plan which meets your needs efficiently and cost-effectively.

Testing can be done on a variety of body fluids. Breath testing for alcohol is a standard test, but urine and saliva can also be tested for alcohol.

Urine testing – using an observed protocol if necessary – can test for the full range of drugs of abuse and performance enhancing drugs.

Hair testing can check for the use of drugs over the 3 months prior to the test, making this test particularly useful for assessment of drug use that is not in the immediate past. Serum (blood) testing may be used in some circumstances to check for drugs not included in urine toxicology panels.
